Privacy policy

Last updated: October 21, 2026.

Iowa Pest Guide is a simple information website. We want you to be able to read it without being tracked.

What we collect

• No accounts and no forms. The site does not ask you to sign up or log in.
• No advertising trackers. We do not currently run ads or third-party tracking scripts.
• Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and reliability.
• Email. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and to improve the site, and we do not sell or share it.

Links to other websites

Our guides link to sources such as Iowa State University, state agencies, the EPA and the CDC, and may link to local businesses. Those sites have their own privacy practices.

Changes

If we add analytics, advertising or a contact form in the future, we will update this page first.
